Do you provide support?

Professional styling is a proven way to increase your property’s sale price. The return on investment is up to 10 times the initial cost, a relatively small outlay for a big result. Our stylists are experienced and skilled at using various strategies to enhance the appeal of your property and attract interest from as many potential buyers as possible. How much does property styling cost?

All our styling packages are determined on an individual basis, depending on the furniture and accessories your property requires. The following prices can be used as a guide.

1 Bedroom starts at $1800 based on 1x Lounge Room, 1x Dining Room and 1x Bistro Setting

2 Bedroom starts at $2300 based on 1x Lounge Room, 1x Dining Room and 1x Bistro Setting

3 Bedroom starts at $3100 based on 2x Lounge Room, 1x Dining Room, 1x Outdoor Setting

4 Bedroom starts at $3800 based on 2x Lounge Room, 2x Dining Room, 1x Outdoor Setting

All extra spaces will cost more.

How does the styling process work?

We try to keep the process as simple as possible. A stylist will view the property and provide a proposal based on your requirements. Once the proposal has been approved, we’ll organise a date and time for installation. On the day of installation, we need access to the property but no one is required to stay while we’re setting up. Once your property has sold, we’ll arrange a time to remove our furniture.

Where do your furniture and accessories come from?

The Elements warehouse is located in Queanbeyan and we own all the furniture and accessories we use. Our range is sourced both locally and internationally and includes custom made pieces, specially commissioned for styling.

What if we don’t like what you’ve chosen?

Whenever we style a property, our team looks at it from an objective and strategic view. We determine what items to include based on factors such as space, light, layout and purpose, as well as what is most appealing to your target market. We hope that you’ll trust our judgement!

What are your payment terms?

Full payment is required before your installation date. Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card. We also offer a delayed payment option which allows you to pay on settlement. What happens if we sell early? If your property sells earlier than expected, let us know and we will collect our furniture at a time that is convenient for you. We don’t offer refunds if the furniture is collected early.

What type of properties do you style?

Element Property Styling styles all kinds of properties, all over Canberra. From 1 bedroom apartments to 5 bedroom houses, our team can expertly style homes of all shapes and sizes.

Can you style a home where I’m living?

When it comes to styling for sale, our preference is always for an empty property. A blank canvas delivers the best result as all furniture and accessories are collated and presented as a package. Our professional stylists carefully position furniture, arrange accessories and make beds to create maximum impact and it is best if these remain undisturbed for the duration of the campaign. For clients who are living in their property or want to retain some furniture items, we can provide a ‘partial style’. We can offer advice on what furniture should be removed or how your existing furniture can be rearranged and then bring in additional complementary items.

How long does it take to style a property?

That depends on the size of your home, how many rooms we are styling and what access to the property is like but we always aim for completion within a few hours. If you have concerns about timing, speak to one of our stylists and they will be able to give you an estimated time frame.
